Class 11 Physics: chapters, notes, MCQs and tests

Class 11 is a big jump from Class 10. The chapters are longer, the numericals are harder and the same topics return in Class 12 and in entrance exams. Studying a little every day works better than a heavy revision just before the exam.

Physics at this level is about understanding a few laws well and then using them in many different situations. Derivations and numericals both carry marks, so you need to be comfortable with the formulas and their units. The notes here put the key laws and formulas of a chapter together before the explanation begins.

On Examora, Class 11 Physics has 15 chapters, starting with Physical World, Units and Measurements, Motion in a Straight Line and ending with Waves. 14 of them have notes, 15 have practice MCQs, and 15 come with a chapter test and three online tests. PDF notes are available for 13 chapters.

Do not move to the next chapter until you can solve at least a few numericals of the current one without looking at the solution. Keep a small notebook of formulas and revise it every few days. The online tests are useful for practising speed, which matters in the board paper.

Each chapter below links to its own notes, split into topics, so you can read only the part you need. The MCQs show a short explanation after every answer. The chapter test puts ten questions on one page, while the online tests give you one question at a time with a five minute timer and a full result at the end. You do not have to log in for any of it.
