Class 10 Science: chapters, notes, MCQs and tests

Class 10 is your first board exam, and the paper follows a fixed pattern of objective questions, short answers and long answers. Practice with MCQs and previous year questions makes a big difference, because many questions come in the same style every year.

Science at school is a mix of ideas you can picture and facts you simply have to remember. For ideas such as reflection of light or how a cell divides, it helps to draw a quick diagram while you read. For facts such as the names of acids or the parts of the digestive system, short and repeated revision works better than one long session.

On Examora, Class 10 Science has 13 chapters, starting with Chemical Reactions and Equations, Acids, Bases and Salts, Metals and Non-metals and ending with Our Environment. 13 of them have notes, 13 have practice MCQs, and 13 come with a chapter test and three online tests.

Read the notes of one chapter, then solve its MCQs on the same day while it is fresh. The questions you get wrong tell you exactly what to read again. Use the chapter test for a quick check, and keep the online tests for the final revision before your exam.

Each chapter below links to its own notes, split into topics, so you can read only the part you need. The MCQs show a short explanation after every answer. The chapter test puts ten questions on one page, while the online tests give you one question at a time with a five minute timer and a full result at the end. You do not have to log in for any of it.
