Class 10 Social Science: chapters, notes, MCQs and tests

Class 10 is your first board exam, and the paper follows a fixed pattern of objective questions, short answers and long answers. Practice with MCQs and previous year questions makes a big difference, because many questions come in the same style every year.

Social Science covers history, geography, civics and economics, so it can feel like four subjects packed into one. Dates and names matter in history, maps and data matter in geography, and in civics and economics the definitions and examples fetch the marks. The notes here keep each of these in short points so that you can go through a chapter in a single sitting.

On Examora, Class 10 Social Science has 24 chapters, starting with Power Sharing and Federalism, The Rise of Nationalism in Europe, Nationalism in India and ending with Consumer Rights. 20 of them have notes, 21 have practice MCQs, and 22 come with a chapter test and three online tests.

Do not try to memorise a full chapter at once. Read it in parts, write the important words on a sheet of paper, and then solve the MCQs. Map work and long answers need their own practice, so use the notes as a base and then write your answers in your own notebook.

Each chapter below links to its own notes, split into topics, so you can read only the part you need. The MCQs show a short explanation after every answer. The chapter test puts ten questions on one page, while the online tests give you one question at a time with a five minute timer and a full result at the end. You do not have to log in for any of it.
