Class 10 Hindi: chapters, notes, MCQs and tests

Class 10 is your first board exam, and the paper follows a fixed pattern of objective questions, short answers and long answers. Practice with MCQs and previous year questions makes a big difference, because many questions come in the same style every year.

Hindi has prose, poetry and grammar, and the three need separate preparation. After reading a lesson you should be able to tell its summary, its main characters or poet and the message it gives. The notes on this page give each lesson in short points so that you can revise it in very little time.

On Examora, Class 10 Hindi has 14 chapters, starting with Soordas Ke Pad, Ram Lakshman Parshuram Samvad, Utsah / At Nahin Rahi Hai and ending with Main Kyon Likhta Hoon. 14 of them have notes, 14 have practice MCQs, and 14 come with a chapter test and three online tests.

Read the lesson once with full attention, then look at the notes and solve the MCQs. For grammar, a few questions every day work better than a big revision before the exam. After a test, read the explanation of every wrong answer so that you do not repeat the mistake.

Each chapter below links to its own notes, split into topics, so you can read only the part you need. The MCQs show a short explanation after every answer. The chapter test puts ten questions on one page, while the online tests give you one question at a time with a five minute timer and a full result at the end. You do not have to log in for any of it.
